Field trip to the Experimental Metal Casting Workroom

As part of the KA3V Cultural Academy for Senior Citizens, a field trip to the Experimental Metal Casting Workroom at the Technical Museum in Brno took place on January 21, 2025. At this specialized workplace, participants learned about basic foundry processes and technologies and viewed metal melting equipment such as a gas melting cup furnace, an electric induction furnace, and an electric resistance furnace for annealing shells. Those interested could also view the permanent Kovolitectví exhibition.
