Proposal for the creation of an expert group on Conservation-Restoration Chemistry within the Czech Chemical Society

The Methodological Centre for Conservation of the Technical Museum in Brno joins the proposal of the members of the study programme Chemistry and Technology of Materials for Conservation-Restoration from the Faculty of Science of the Masaryk University for the development of cooperation between conservator-restorers, chemists, technologists and other researchers in the field of research and care of cultural heritage, by establishing

 

the Conservation-Restoration Chemistry Working Group within the Czech Chemical Society

 

  • Membership in the group could bring both the possibility of mutual cooperation of individual members and organizations, as well as easier access to information and foreign projects
  • Membership itself does not commit individual members to anything substantial
