We would like to invite you to a training course on the handling of hazardous chemicals and chemical products in accordance with

  • Act No. 350/2011 Coll., on chemicals and chemical mixtures (Chemicals Act)
  • Regulation (EC) No. 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council on classification, labeling, and packaging of substances and mixtures (CLP – applicable without exception from June 1, 2015) and amendment (Regulation (EU) No. 487/2013 of the European Parliament and of the Council). Further revision – Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2023/707 effective from April 20, 2023.
  • Acts No. 205/2020 Coll. and 261/2021 Coll., which amend Act No. 258/2000 Coll. on the protection of public health.
  • REACH Regulation (Commission Regulation No. 1907/2006) and amendments to this regulation (Commission Regulations No. 453/2010 and No. 2020/878)
  • H-statements, P-statements, hazard symbols.

The training is organized by the Methodological Center for Conservation of the Technical Museum in Brno in cooperation with the South Moravian Section of the Commission of Conservators-Restorers of the Czech Association of Museums and Galleries.

INFORMATION FOR PARTICIPANTS AND REGISTRATION
The training is intended primarily for conservators-restorers (or other employees of collection-forming institutions) who handle hazardous chemicals classified as highly toxic, toxic, corrosive, carcinogenic, mutagenic, and toxic for reproduction. Those interested in the training can register using the electronic form (see below). The number of participants is limited by the capacity of the lecture hall. FREE ENTRY.
